It is with great interest that DeLeaves wants to contribute to the advancement of environmental sciences. Therefore, we are proud to announce that an article on the DeLeaves treetop sampling tool development has been published in the Journal of Unmanned Vehicle (JUVS). It has been awarded the Editor’s choice of the September’s 2020 issue and the manuscript is available in open access.
Also, an experiment has been achieved in collaboration with the Canadian Airborne Observatory Network (CABO) to help them demonstrate that there are differences in the leaves depending on where they are sampled on a tree. This is of great importance so that they can develop the appropriate sampling protocols. The article presenting those results can be found online.
